PSOUG Special Event - Tuesday November 18th: Spend your ...
... morning with Oak Table member Kevin Closson
Kevin is a performance architect in Oracle's Systems Technology Group and a member of the Oracle Exadata Storage Server development team. Kevin will teach a custom class for us and share his wealth of knowledge on optimizing Oracle performance and storage.
... afternoon with Oracle Ace Director Dan Morgan

RMAN is a great tool to have after something bad has happened, but wouldn't it be better if we could just prevent bad things from happening in the first place? Dan has put together a very special class, complete with live  demos and source code, on building disaster avoidance into your databases and applications.
... then have dinner & beer with Mogens Norgaard co-founder of the Oak Table Network
In May, Mogens invited Dan Morgan and Helen Lofstrom to a "memorable" tasting of American beers in Denmark. It was not  America's proudest moment. From 6:00pm to 9:00pm we will have a dinner catered by the owners of Pomegranate Bistro and a hand picked collection of the best of American beers.
